Meteor at the Great Sand Dunes National Park, Colorado (03/07/2015).
“My wife and I are in Monte Vista to look at the Sandhill Cranes this weekend. Last night, we took a few photos at the Great Sand Dunes National Park. I got really lucky and captured a super bright meteor in this photo. There is also a planet on the left, a galaxy near the center, and a faint Milky Way on the right. The sand dunes are up to 750 feet tall and even had some ice and flowing water in front of them.
Single 30-second exposure with a Rokinon 14mm lens.
